Love Letter Nails

Hiiiii :)
A few months ago I bought the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Strips when they were on sale and recently decided it was time to use them. I actually put them on a week and a half ago and just forgot to post this :P The design that I got is called Love Letter.
I just wanted to share them with you because I think they turned out really well and I love the design. They are super easy to use. You just peel the plastic off and put them on your nails. They kind of stretch too so that they fit your nails.

I was really happy with how these turned out, although they did not last as long as I expected. They can be quite expensive, but if they go on sale I will definitely purchase them again.

Southampton

Hiiii! :)

For the past five or six summers, my family and I go to Southampton for a few days. One of our extended family members has a cottage there that they let us use it, which is very nice of them! This time, My mom, two of my brothers and my sister came (my dad and other brother had to work).

 This is honestly one of my favourite places to go. It is just so beautiful! The beach is only a minute walk from the cottage and it is nice and sandy (It's on Lake Huron). There are different beach spots along thee shore line, so we drove to a couple. There are also a lot of lighthouses here and it's just perfect!!
The weather was amazing today and the sunset was absolutely breathtaking! I just love sitting by the water and watching the sun set. It calms me and makes me feel so much better. The beauty of it is so incredible!

First we went to a cute little lake and fed some ducks.

 The we went to one of the main roads with the beach at the end of it, got some ice cream, and then just sat and looked out at the water.

 From this spot we could see a lighthouse to our right, so we got in the car and drove down the road to see it up close.

After little while here we decided to head back to the cottage. My mom and I then walked to the spot on the beach that is closest to us and watched the sunset. It was beautiful! And at this beach you can see yet another light house :)

I really enjoyed myself this evening with my family and there is just something about being here that makes me feel  really happy. We have a couple more days here and I plan to make the most of them. Now I am off to star gaze! (although the moon is quite bright so I don't know how well this will go).

So Much Excitement!

Hiiiii!

I cannot even express how excited I am for tomorrow! Not only is it my birthday, but my two friends and I, as well as my sister, are going to Toronto. We are having a nice lunch when we get there and we are even staying in a hotel overnight (and it has a pool!). What I am most excited for however is that we are going to see One Direction in concert! Yes, I am a Directioner, and I cannot wait to see them live!

I haven't actually been to a lot of concerts so I am definitely looking forward to this. We bought the tickets a while ago and it's just hard to believe the moment is almost here! 

My friends and I decided to get crafty and make shirts for it, and they look awesome!

We each put a little iron on picture on our right sleeve but we all have a different one :)

 We also put our favourite number and favourite member on the back

I am excited for not only the concert, but also to just be able to spend my birthday with such amazing people who are very dear to me. It is just so difficult to put into words how much I am looking forward to July 10th 2013, it will definitely be a day to remember.

Tea Party

Hiiii! :)

I had such a lovely weekend and I was quite sad that it had to come to an end. On Saturday, my two friends and I had a tea party. It was at my friends house which is just such a beautiful place. She lives in such a nice area, and it was so peaceful there.

When we got to her house after having run some errands, her mother had set up a table with juice and finger foods and tea. It was so wonderful!

It was a beautiful day and so we just sat out there for a little while eating our yummy treats and drinking our tea. I really enjoyed spending time with two of my very best friends.

June Favourites

Hiiii! :)

It's hard to believe that June is already over, but I do LOVE July. So many exciting things happen in this month (such as my birthday). Since it is the start of a new month it is time for my June favourites. 

 My first favourite is my  Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick in 103. I have already done a post on this (HERE) so I won't go into much detail, but it is wonderful. It is not too crazy which makes it a nice lipstick to wear just day to day. I think it is so pretty.

Quite a while ago I bought a pair of high waisted shorts but I couldn't wear them since it was winter. Since the weather was nice in June I was finally able to wear them! I ended up loving this style so much that I bought another cheap pair. I just like how they look, they are very flattering. I have been wearing both pairs a lot and hopefully I will be able to get one more pair!

As you are probably aware, I love tea! Recently I have been really enjoying the Stash brand of tea and a few weeks ago I bought a vanilla nut flavour. Oh my goodness it is bloody delicious! It kind of tastes like a dessert and it is just so nice and comforting.  Plus it is Decaf so I can have it before I go to sleep. It is perfect!

 I have purchased numerous candles so I figured that maybe I should actually start using them. I began using one but it gave me a headache when I lit it, so I decided to use my warm vanilla sugar candle from Bath and Body Works instead. It really is a lovely candle. It doesn't give me a headache, and the smell isn't super strong but it makes the whole room smell amazing! It makes me feel so relaxed. I usually light it in the evenings when I am just watching a movie or reading a book. 

It's almost all gone!

This month I discovered the show Drop Dead Diva. I absolutely love it! It is clever and funny and I just really enjoy it. I think the acting is very good too.  It is about this aspiring model (Deb) who dies in a car crash and her soul is then out into the body of a plus size lawyer(Jane). The only people who know that Jane is really Deb is her best friend and her guardian angel. I have been watching it on Netflix and I am now on season two. I am completely hooked! :)
