Comparison is the Theif of Joy

Hiiii! :)

For the past little while I have found that I've been comparing myself to others constantly.I don't do it intentionally, it just sort of happens either through social media or  even amongst my friends. I find that this is a common problem in today's society and I think it is important for everyone to remember that they are their own person and we all have certain aspects that make us special. We are all amazing in our own ways and I need to remember that sometimes.  We all need to stop comparing ourselves to others because we are not that person, nor will we ever be.  We are who we are and we might as well embrace it :)
I have promised myself to focus on loving myself more, doing things that I love and being extra thankful for everything in my life. This obviously doesn't happen over night, it is a journey, but it is 100% worth it!

I hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy the great warm weather!

Day at the Farm

Hiiiiii!

Every one has certain things that make them happy and can brighten their day. One of mine is animals. Being around animals always puts a smile on my face, I just love them so much! A few days ago, Emily and I went to Windreach Farm for a few hours to see all the animals. There were cows and goats and bunnies and guinea pigs and alpacas and sheep and just soooo many cute animals!! I had such a lovely day, and took A LOT  of pictures so I thought I would share some of them. :)
This little lamb was only a few weeks old

This is Nutmeg (the little guy) and her mom Cinnamon.Cinnamon  was actually missing the bottom part of her front left leg because of a coyote, but she was still so feisty. I really liked these two :)

A smile from nutmeg! :)

The grey bunny's hair do was pretty cool:P

This is Annabelle and her mom
she really must have liked that door

Ben the alpaca, he was so sweet! <3

This is Abe, who is deaf, so Ben helps him out which is adorable
In the barn there were two baby lambs who weren't even a day old yet... ohh my goodness my heart just melted!! They were soooo incredibly adorable, and super soft.

I loved watching them attempt to walk
Just look how small and precious they are!!! <3
We honestly went to see those baby lambs numerous times during our visit and I have an excessive amount of pictures of them but they were just so cute!!!! :P

Em with some turkeys and chickens

this guy was so soft :)
We also got to go on a hay ride through the cow pastures and got to meet a cow called Cinnamon sticks who was also one of my favourites. He honestly acted like a dog and was just a big suck!! Sadly we didn't get a chance to go to the horse stables as they were busy there but there's always next time!!

We then went home and had a quick lunch, then went off to the greenhouse to see some beautiful flowers

It was such a lovely day and I just felt amazingly happy... I can't even explain it. I apologize for the long post but I really wanted to share all the cute animal pictures!! :P I hope you all have a wonderful day, and go do something that makes you happy :)
